We are the Scottish Chefs.

We are the men and women who staff the Kitchens of Scotland, cooking your breakfast, your lunch and your dinner.

We are passionate about what we do and we are constantly striving to update our skills, find new methods, improve on proven recipes and broaden our knowledge base.

This conference is an opportunity to do that and to meet with fellow chefs, chat with old friends and help light the way for the next generation of chefs that will ultimately feed Scotland.

The Federation of Chefs Scotland exist to promote excellence in the art of professional cookery.

The Federation control and operate the Scottish culinary teams both senior and junior who have achieved world acclaim in international events. The Federation needs your support & membership however most of the organisations funding is achieve through generous sponsorship and by joining you may receive more back in kind than the £25.00 membership fee.

Willie saw the need for Scotland to organise it's own Chefs conference. A master chef himself and past chef of the year with many awards for his culinary excellence. He believed that by using his contacts within the world of chefs and most importantly with sponsor companies, without who's assistance the whole project could not have happened, that he could bring chefs together to help improve many aspects of this industry.

Conference 2008

Dear Chefs

Haggis-TimbaleI am delighted to update you on the success of this years Scottish Chefs Conference 2008.

The conference was held at the Citadel Leisure Centre in Ayr a superb venue for just under 600 attending chefs.

I am extremely grateful to all our Sponsors for their support in establishing our conference as an annual event which is now becoming recognised world wide.

The Conference is unmissable by any serious chef in their quest to acquire further knowledge, skills and techniques from some of the Worlds Finest.

Trainee Chefs Attend Conference Free

In an effort to help develop our next generation of Chefs we invited every Hospitality / Catering College in Scotland to bring along 10 trainee chef students free of charge.

The students attended as day delegates and hopefully were excited and inspired about their chosen profession.
