
The Inaugural Scottish Chefs Conference was held at Scotland’s Premiere Four Red Star Hotel – Lochgreen House Hotel in Troon, Ayrshire on the 20th November 2006.

The Conference was an over whelming success with excellent
culinary demonstrations from four of Scotland’s Finest Chefs:

Debate:
There was also a topical debate with delegate interaction on subjects from training & education, young chefs, tv chefs and the future of our industry in scotland.
“The Big Interview”
With Bill Costley Chef/Entrepreneur whose successful career, culinary achievements and outstanding business success was of great interest to the audience. Providing insights into the many and various aspects of this business.
The event took place on Monday 20th November 2006 and was organised by Willie Pike, Executive Chef and Head of Craft Training for Costley and Costley Hoteliers.
“Having attended many chefs conferences south of the Border and demonstrated at The Skills for Chefs Conference in Sheffield on many occasions I felt that it was time to have our own annual conference in Scotland."

The conference will provide a unique opportunity for chefs to experience the talents of the demonstrators, have their voice heard in the conference debate, speak with Scotland’s finest suppliers and of course network with other chefs.
